Education of pupils with special educational needs through the teachers' eyes at elementary school.

The diploma thesis is focused on the process of pupils with special educational needs at a selected school from the teachers' point of view at the primary school. The subject of interest is based on the teachers of the selected primary school, who provide daily support to pupils with special educational needs in general education. The aim of the work is to explore and evaluate the teachers' point of view on ongoing process of education pupils with special educational needs in the first grade of primary school. Their approaches to pupils, methods and teaching methods are analysed, the support of the school education program is monitored school management within strategic visions and that is mostly from the point of view of teachers working at the first grade. A combination of quantitative and qualitative research methods was chosen to get answers to the research questions. In the first phase, data was collected using a self-constructed questionnaire, in the second stage, semi-structured interviews with teachers were realized, which brought detailed insight into the work of teachers in heterogeneous classes. Supporting the wellbeing of pupils with special educational needs at the upper primary school

The bachelor's thesis entitled "Supporting the wellbeing of pupils with special educational needs at the lower secondary school" addresses the issue of wellbeing among students with special educational needs in the lower secondary stage of elementary schools, with a focus on social and emotional aspects. The theoretical part of the thesis defines the concept of wellbeing, its factors, and its impact on overall quality of life. It further examines the classroom climate as an environment that influences students' wellbeing. The role of the class teacher in supporting the wellbeing of students with special educational needs is also described, with emphasis on the specificities of working with these students and supporting their individual needs. The research results will provide a comprehensive understanding of the work of class teachers and their efforts to create a supportive environment for the wellbeing of students with special educational needs, as well as the entire class community. Development of spoken German language among students with special needs at lower secondary school

The diploma thesis deals with the development of spoken language in German among pupils with special educational needs in primary schools. The aim of the diploma thesis is to find out whether the applied activities implemented within the intervention sessions contributed to the development of spoken language in selected pupils with special educational needs. The monitored pupils attend the ninth grade of a primary school established according to section 16 of the Education Act. One of the monitored pupils has a diagnosed specific learning disability, the second pupil has a diagnosed hyperkinetic disorder with attention deficit and the third monitored pupil has a diagnosed autism spectrum disorder. The theoretical part deals with the teaching of German as a second foreign language in Czech elementary schools, with spoken language, with the special educational needs of the monitored pupils and, last but not least, with the manifestations of these diagnoses in the teaching of the German language. The practical part contains research led by the case study method, which is carried out through eight intervention meetings with the monitored pupils. Distance education for children with special education needs from the perspective of teachers

The thesis analyses the methods and forms of education during and since distance learning for pupils with special educational needs in inclusive primary schools. The theoretical part defines the system of education of pupils with special educational needs in the Czech Republic. It describes the specifics of education of pupils with special educational needs in different types of disadvantages and defines distance education in general, including the implementation of digital technologies. A questionnaire was chosen as the method for data collection. On the basis of the existing information and unstructured interviews with teachers, a questionnaire for teachers and school special educators of primary schools was designed. The questionnaires were distributed in three regions of the Czech Republic. The research survey answered questions on distance education of pupils with special educational needs and on methods used since distance education based on the COVID-19 pandemic. Based on the results and analysis of the questionnaire survey, appropriate methods and programs for education of pupils with special needs and both face-to-face and distance education were proposed. Primary prevention of alcohol abuse by children with special educational needs

The bachelor thesis deals with the issue of alcohol consumption in children and youth. The first chapter describes alcohol and its impact on health, provides an overview of alcohol consumption in the Czech Republic in adults, children and youth. The concept of pupils with special educational needs is explained here and attention is focused on ADHD pupils. The following is an introduction to the primary prevention system in the Czech Republic. The work describes the methodologies for working with pupils with special educational needs and identifies the basic documents and methodologies that can be used in the creation of preventive programs for the school environment. The created preventive program should teach pupils to refuse alcohol, bring information about the consequences of its consumption and raise overall awareness of its poor effect on the human body. Its aim is also to try to improve communication and find solutions in their often dissatisfied lifestyle. Overall, the program strives to develop communication, get to know other people, resolve negative events or conflict. And especially to get to know yourself.
Prevention of risky behavior of pupils in condition of inklusive education in second grade of primary school

My thesis is focused on the prevention of challenging behaviour in inclusive education. The aim of the work is to describe prevention at a selected elementary school in Karovy Vary, with a focus on pupils with special educational needs. In the theoretical part prevention, challenging behaviour and the features of students with special educational needs are described. Several examples of challenging behaviour in the individual specific students and the prevention of this behaviour are also mentioned. In the practical part common prevention was studied. Later on, how the students with special educational needs participate in preventive activities, and eventually if they have some modifications. The study was performed at the second degree of the selected elementary school in Karlovy Vary. The research was done using analysis of documents, interviews and observations. It was ascertained that the prevention of challenging behaviour towards the mentioned student is not well elaborated. There are obvious only some indications of activity transformation and individualisation of prevetion.
Distance learning of pupils with special educational needs from the perspective of primary school teachers

This thesis is concerned with identifying appropriate approaches to distance learning for pupils with special educational needs in mainstream primary schools. The theoretical part of the thesis defines the system of education of pupils with special educational needs and the possibilities of their support. Furthermore, it describes the specifics of education of pupils with different types of disadvantages of pupils with special educational needs, defines distance education in general and summarizes the knowledge about distance education due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Based on the analysis of the existing knowledge about distance education of pupils with special educational needs, a questionnaire for teachers was compiled. The survey answered questions about the involvement of students with special educational needs in distance education. Based on the results and analysis of the survey, possible recommendations for distance education of pupils with special educational needs in primary schools were proposed.
Highly gifted and talented pupils in scientific educational fi.ld and reality of school experience

This thesis deals with the occurrence of scientifically gifted students at Czech schools. The talent affects a person's life fundamentally but also it influences the lives of others people. These gifted and talented people usually become leading scientists and researchers. They can affect important social events significantly during their professional careers. After the family teachers and school are the most important part in development of the child. Therefore teachers should know what specific educational requirements gifted students have. It's necessary to determine the status of teachers. In the theoretical part of the thesis the main aim of the literary review was a theoretical background of the talent, the incidence of gifted pupils at Czech and foreign schools, the work with gifted pupils at foreign schools and educational institutions and associations working with gifted children. In the practical part of the thesis a questionnaire was created and then distributed to teachers of science subjects. The questionnaire has found foreknowledge Czech teachers of the concept of genius and talent.
